Solar radiation tests in the outdoor testing area
Large, inhomogeneous specimens such as
- Structured glazing
- Sun protection systems
- Transparent insulation systems
cannot be tested by spectrometers that can only measure small-scale samples. Large and inhomogeneous specimens have to
be measured over the total area. These tests (size up to 1,20 m x 0,80 m) are performed at natural solar radiation by
means of an outdoor testing device, which is automatically adjusted perpendicular (or at a certain angle) to the solar
radiation.
