The testing laboratory of the Fraunhofer IBP in Holzkirchen is since 1999 accredited
by the DAR (Deutscher Akkreditierungsrat) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC
17025. The flexible accreditation certifies the high scientific competence and
professional qualification of the testing laboratory. In particular it is therefore
authorised - in addition to employing standard test methods - to develop new
or modify and improve existing test methods.
IBP-Holzkirchen has been accredited for the following tests:
|
Since moisture is a common cause for damage to building products and all weathering processes - biological, chemical or physical - require the presence of water, the behaviour of a building component depends crucially on its hygric characteristics. |
|
These tests are conducted mainly as a supplement to field tests to characterize the used mortars and plasters and to compare conventional plasters and mortars with newly developed ones. |
|
Radiation tests including solar radiation tests and laboratory tests: Transmission, reflection, absorption, emission, total solar energy transmission. Measurements with grid-spectrometer or Fourier-interferometer on homogeneous specimens and measurements at natural sunlight on large and inhomogeneous specimens. |
